Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone born 5 January 1986) is an Indian actress and a past model.  Deepika Padukone completes her acting debut in the 2006 Kannada film Aishwarya. The subsequent year, Deepika Padukone made her Hindi film first appearance in the blockbuster Om Shanti Om which earn her the Filmfare Best Female Debut Award.

Deepika Padukone was born in Copenhagen, Denmark. Her family motivated to Bangalore, Karnataka, India, when she was eleven months old. Deepika Padukone is of Chitrapur Saraswat Brahmin origin, and her mother tongue is Konkani.

Deepika Padukone’s father, Prakash Padukone, is a retire badminton player of international status, and her mother is a travel agent. Deepika Padukone also has a younger sister, Anisha, born on February 2, 1991.

Padukone attend Sophia High School in Bangalore, and finished her pre-university studies at Mount Carmel College Bangalore. While in high school Deepika Padukone played badminton at the state level.However, Deepika Padukone was not enthusiastic on pursue a career as a badminton player.
